WORLD'S LONGEST 4-STRIPES TUNNELS ARE OPENED

GEBZE-IZMIT ROAD OPENED ON THE NORTH MARMARA HIGHWAY

Gebze-Izmit, an important part of the North Marmara Motorway, was put into service. It is aimed to decrease the traffic jam between Istanbul and Kocaeli.

There are 5 tunnels with four lanes and 9 intersections on the 57.4 km long road that has been put into service.

It is equipped with Intelligent Transportation Systems made by ortana to ensure the safety of highway users.
