Ortana operates in the road, railway and aviation sectors. Since its establishment, Ortana has been at the forefront of the competition with its innovative R&D capabilities and manufacturer aspect, and has taken part in many important domestic and international projects with its signalling, sensor technologies and control/management software. In addition, Ortana, which has obtained many patents for the technologies it produces, has many certificates that are the first in the world in its sector. Ortana's headquarter is located in Tepe Prime Office Towers in Ankara and has two separate R&D centres, one of which is 450m² in Sincan Factory and the other is 160m² in METU MET Bilişim Teknokent. In the R&D Centres, there are independent specialisation groups in Electronics, Software, Microwave, Optics and Mechanics. Ortana also has three production facilities with a production area of 13.500m² in Ankara Sincan Organised Industrial Zone, 5.000m² in Ankara Temelli Organised Industrial Zone and 2.500m² in Ankara Ostim Organised Industrial Zone. Ortana's 2 companies, which are 100% owned subsidiaries of Ortana, operate abroad, based in Dubai UAE and Amsterdam Netherlands. Ortana exports to more than 30 countries. Ortana cooperates closely with METU, Tübitak, Hacettepe University, Gazi University, Sabancı University and TU Delft Netherlands for R&D activities. |
