NORTH MARMARA MOTORWAY IS OPENED

The first part of the North Marmara Motorway, which has approximately 300 km round-trip, 4 + 4 lane highway and will be connected with Yavuz Sultan Selim and Osmangazi Bridges and is near to the Istanbul Airport connection is opened for transportation on 29 October.

When the project is completed with all its parts, it will reduce the traffic density in the highway transportation system in the Northern Marmara Region, high-tonnage vehicles will be withdrawn from the city traffic, and it will provide economic, comfortable and fast transportation service by relieving local and transit traffic.
